Howard Palmer Gardens

Elevated photograph of Howard Palmer Gardens Autumn 2011
Howard Palmer Gardens is a small park (0.8 hectares) in the centre of the Wokingham town just behind the Red Lion Pub and by Cockpit Lane car park.

Howard Palmer Gardens is currently a pleasant, if plain, patch of green space within the town that is starting to look a little dated and in need of refurbishment. While we keep the green space neat and tidy it does not have the planting beds and colour we would like to see.

Mostly used by town centre workers for a quiet place to have their lunch, Howard Palmer Gardens will be re-landscaped to create a really pleasant and calm place for everyone to enjoy. A company has been chosen by the Amenities Committee here at the Council to redevelop the site and soon we intend to be able to show you more about the winning design and contractor.

This blog will keep you abreast of the process, detailing how Howard Palmer Gardens is transformed into a really special location at the heart of the Town.
